Today Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted published a new pastoral letter, Apostles of Mercy, focused on the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It is addressed to the priests of the Diocese of Phoenix and was released to coincide with the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul.

Bishop Olmsted first previewed the pastoral letter in his monthly column in The Catholic Sun.
