The Catholic community of the Diocese of Phoenix demonstrated an outpouring of very generous support to assist the victims of Hurricane Sandy. To date, the Diocese of Phoenix has collected $166,000 for the relief efforts.
Catholic Charities USA is heading the relief efforts and is providing food, water, clothing and shelter to hurricane victims. They will also focus on long-term reconstruction.
